In our last post, we gave a detailed introduction to the unboxing and key features of the MM-X1 anti-fog mask. Since then, we've received many questions from our followers.
How long does one activation last? What if I forget to activate it? How do I maintain it after use? Can I touch the inside of the lens with my fingers?
In today's post, we'll explain the activation process and answer the most frequently asked questions. We recommend saving this post so you can refer back to it anytime.
Part 1: Anti-Fog Activation Guide
After receiving your MM-X1, you need to activate it before its first use. The steps are simple:
Step 1: Soak
Submerge the mask completely in clean water for about two minutes. The goal is to let the permanent hydrophilic anti-fog coating on the inner lens come into full contact with water, waking it up.
Step 2: Spread
Take out the mask and gently and evenly spread the coating on the inside of both lenses with your fingers. You will feel a smooth, slick film — that's the anti-fog coating.
Step 3: Pour Out Water
After spreading evenly, pour out the remaining water inside the mask. No need to wipe — just shake it off and let it air dry naturally.

二、Part 2: Quick Q&A on Common Questions
Q: How long does one activation last?
A: After activation, the anti-fog effect is permanent. The MM-X1 uses permanent coating technology, not a disposable layer. Once activated, it remains effective.
Q: What if I forget to activate it?
A: If you don't activate it, the coating hasn't been awakened, and the anti-fog effect may be compromised. So make sure to soak, spread, and activate it before first use. If you forget, don't worry — just activate it afterwards. It won't affect the performance.
Q: Can I touch the inside of the lens with my fingers?
A: Of course. The MM-X1's anti-fog coating is scratch-resistant and abrasion-resistant. Normal finger contact is perfectly fine. Activating it by spreading with your fingers or accidentally touching the lens during use will not affect its performance.
Q: Will oil stains affect the anti-fog effect?
A: If the inside of the lens accidentally gets oil stains, such as from sunscreen, it is recommended to gently clean it with clean water and a small amount of mild dish soap. After rinsing thoroughly, simply repeat the activation steps, and the anti-fog effect will be restored.
Q: How should I maintain and store it daily?
A: Very simple. After each use, rinse with clean water, let it air dry in the shade, and store it in its case to avoid heavy pressure. Be careful not to use a lighter to burn the lens, and do not clean the inside of the lens with alcohol or strong acidic or alkaline cleaners.
