105 years ago today, a small boat on South Lake in Jiaxing quietly set sail, carrying the faith of a group of people. No one knew where this small boat would go, but they chose to set out—and they persevered every step of the way.

105 years: from 13 people to 100 million, from a single red boat to a great Eastern ship charting the course forward. There was no shortcut—just persistence, day after day.

Diving, much like the Party's journey, is also a pursuit that demands long-term commitment. The first time you get in the water, you can't help but feel a little nervous. The first time you wear fins, they feel awkward to kick. The first time your snorkel takes in water, you want to rip it off and head straight back up. But every single diver started right there.

If you stick with it, you'll discover a whole new world. Underwater, calmness is your greatest strength. No panic. No rushing. No giving up.

Persistence is also the foundation of making good products. A foot pocket that doesn't chafe—we went through countless samples before finalizing the fit. A mask that resists fogging—it took a full three years of development.

That, perhaps, is the truest weight of "persistence." It may not always be spectacular, but it keeps you true to your original purpose.

105 years is a long stretch of time, but it taught us one simple truth: no matter how far the road, if you keep walking, you'll eventually get there.
