On June 25, 2026, the Guangdong Marine Culture Association’s “Culture Empowers the Sea” Salon was successfully held in Guangzhou. Mr. Huang Guanhao, General Manager of Tianhe Technology (DIVESWIM), was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech, and was officially appointed as one of the first technical advisors to the second session of the Guangdong Marine Culture Association.

The salon, themed “Culture Empowers the Sea · Digital Intelligence Bay Area · Mountains and Seas United,” brought together experts and scholars from technology, marine sciences, ecology, culture & tourism, and finance, along with government officials and representatives of marine-related enterprises. In-depth discussions were held on topics such as high-quality development of the marine economy, protection of marine cultural heritage, and digital-intelligent empowerment for marine cultural innovation.

China is the world’s largest manufacturing hub for diving equipment, accounting for over 60% of global production capacity for diving masks and fins, with the Pearl River Delta region being the core manufacturing base. The diving population in the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area is growing at an annual rate of over 15%, and participation in marine sports continues to rise.

However, behind this manufacturing foundation and technological accumulation lies a lack of marine cultural identity—vast quantities of equipment are exported worldwide, yet the barrier for Chinese people themselves to enter the sea remains high.

What Tianhe Technology is doing is transforming equipment from mere “OEM products” into “cultural gateways”—turning every technological breakthrough into a vehicle that enables ordinary people to safely venture into the sea.

In his speech, General Manager Huang Guanhao repeatedly emphasised: “Tianhe Technology is not just about making equipment; we are building the cornerstone of marine culture.”

During the salon, the Guangdong Marine Culture Association officially appointed Mr. Huang Guanhao as a technical advisor to the association. This appointment is both a high recognition of Mr. Huang’s professional competence and a strong affirmation of Tianhe Technology’s technical strength and industry influence in the field of diving equipment manufacturing.

As a technical advisor, Mr. Huang will engage in professional consulting and technical support for the association in areas such as the integration of marine technology and culture, innovation in marine equipment, and marine science popularisation and education. Tianhe Technology will also take this opportunity to deepen industry‑university‑research collaboration with the association and its member organisations, promoting the deep integration of “Intelligent Manufacturing in China” with marine culture.
